Benjamin Tran

Owner & Chief Executive Officer

Benjamin is the founder of Transcend Tactics & Transcend Strategic, providing security, Firearms and emergency medical training as well as protection and risk mitigation services.

Benjamin has extensive real-world experince in security and executive protection. Most notably he was assigned to the protection detail for five U.S. Ambassadors and was the personal Armed Shadow Protector (bodyguard) for multiple U.S. Ambassador in austere environments.

Benjamin is still operational and now provides protection services Personal for Ultra High Net-worth Individual (UHNWI) and well known public figures.

Benjamin served his country honorably for 6 years in the Army as a Cavalry Scout assigned as a Squad Designated Marksman (SDM). Between his military and para-military career, Benjamin has deployed overseas several times, conducting combat/security operations in austere environments (combat zones) totaling 7+ years of operational experience.

Michael Mince

Chief Strategic Officer

Michael has extensive experience in Executive Protection with over 8 years of experience providing the highest quality security service to UHNW, government, and corporate clients stateside and internationally.

Mike is a detail-oriented and analytical practitioner across the full spectrum of security environments and has Program Manager level experience leading security operations for corporate clients.

Mike served his country with over 20 years in the U.S. Army as a Special Forces Officer retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel with the U.S. Army Special Operations Command. He has multiple combat deployments leading teams in conducting unconventional warfare, counterterrorism, direct action, foreign internal defense, and intelligence gathering operations.

Mike is adept at training, resource management, mission and logistics planning, and has extensive Asian and Middle Eastern cultural knowledge with over seven years of foreign service in twelve different countries.

Mike earned his Masters degree form Colorado State University

Gloria Tran

Chief Financial Officer

Gloria is an analytical and results-driven financial professional with an MBA in Accounting and diverse experience in financial analysis, procurement, accounts payable/receivable, and process optimization.

Gloria is Skilled in managing procurement processes, vendor negotiations, and contract compliance to ensure cost-effective purchasing and operational efficiency. Experienced in leveraging Excel and financial reporting tools to track expenditures and provide management with data-driven insights for strategic decision making.

Gloria Familiar with Smartsheet and Tableau, with a strong ability to adapt to new financial technologies.

Gloria Earned her Master In Business Administration (magna cum laude) from Devry University.
